After Japan's defeat in the said war, Thailand declared its alliance to the Allies, and had returned the said four states to Britain.During the period over a little of one year, when the four states were under Thai rule, Thailand had introduced in use the stamps of the "Four States Issue" in postal services, and as the local people used currency of decimal (cent) system, Thai Stamps in this issue had therefore been subjected to the use of the said currency. The stamp issue consists of 6 denomination, namely 1,2,3,4,8,15 cent denomination. All the stamps depict the war veteran monument
